This program provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families/caregivers based on the Person Centered Thinking model. The individual will review diagnosis to determine eligibility, facilitate intake and enrollment processes, conduct assessment of needs (family, social, legal, and educational domains), develop service plans, facilitate service linkages, monitor for treatment effectiveness, provision of crisis intervention/prevention supports, and the delivery of advocacy services. The individual will manage caseload assignments for service providers and will monitor services which will be provided to individuals in accordance with standards and billing guidelines established by the HHSC Children’s Autism Program grant and BTCS. This position will require individual to provide direct services at least 50% of work time.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field including, but not limited to: psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, development, educational psychology, or education. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: At least two years case management or service coordination experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD.
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently is preferred.
