Job Description

• Primary duty of this position is to provide individual counseling and play therapy for individuals ages 3 through adulthood in a large non-profit community services clinic.
• Secondary duty of this position is the provision of diagnostic intake assessments and connection to resources for adults, children and families throughout Williamson County
• Use of person-centered approach for assessment, diagnosis, referral, treatment planning and follow through to discharge planning
• Coordination of services, development of recovery plans and completion of crisis assessments as needed
• Collaborative participation in a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Working in accordance with best-practice standards, license requirements, ethics, and evidence-based interventions

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university, current licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field and licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Must have a valid Texas Driver's License, meet Bluebonnet Trails Community Services driving requirements, and maintain approved driving status throughout employment

Preferred Qualifications: LCSW preferred. Experience with Play Therapy, TBRI, and/or TFCBT Preferred. Bilingual Preferred.
Two years working with individuals with severe mental illness. Experience working across the lifespan. Experience working with individuals, groups, and families. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills a must. Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary Amount$24.76/hr
