Under the direction of the Director of Training, The Professional Development Coordinator will provide assistance and support with the provision of new employee orientation to integrated service provider staff and provide ongoing support and training to staff as needed and requested. This position is responsible for the maintenance of accurate training records. This position will also research, develop and present innovative elective courses based on the ongoing needs of staff of Bluebonnet Trails Community Services.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or other human services field is required. Training and public speaking experience is necessary. Familiarity with substance use, children’s mental health and developmental issues as well as adult mental health issues is necessary. Minimum of three years’ experience performing mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment required. Strong commitment to providing quality, person centered, trauma-informed and recovery oriented behavioral healthcare is a must. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
