Job Description

This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical, secretarial and receptionist duties at the Round Rock location. This position will manage the Front (Adult and/or Youth and Family) or Intake Front desk where clients will check in for multiple Mental Health programs. These duties include, but are not limited to: receptionist duties, data entry, Anasazi Scheduler, copying and collating materials, typing, mailing correspondence, maintaining office equipment, maintaining pre-assembled staffing packets, ordering supplies and filing clinical records, answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner and greeting individuals and families. This position must have the ability to work with a variety of agencies and individuals. Ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. Must be able to provide excellent customer service to clients, families and staff utilizing tack and diplomacy; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input into center information system; ability to stay calm and focused. Produce and reconcile reports on a daily/weekly/monthly recurrence. Must be able to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Some experience in a medical office. Ability to operate Microsoft Office products with proficiency. Utilize all generic office equipment and multi-line phone systems. Must be able to maintain confidential information in a professional manner. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications: Some college (1-2 years or Associates Degree). 1-3 years of experience in a medical office front desk role.
