This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical, secretarial and receptionist duties. These duties include, but are not limited to, (1) answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner and greeting clients and families, (2) completing financial reviews and knowledge of insurance (3) entering documents in the electronic medical record, (4) completing reports, and providing productivity measures in a timely manner. This position must have the ability to work at various workstations and interact in a professional way with a variety of agencies and individuals. Must participate in supervisory meetings and training as required. Must maintain office area and equipment organized and in functional order.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input information into an electronic health record; ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work with clients, families and staff utilizing tact and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. |
Preferred Qualifications: Front desk and experience with financials in a behavioral health setting preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred. Knowledge of insurance company processes.
