Job Description

This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical business support services to an Extended Observation Unit (secured). These duties include, but are not limited to, answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner, scanning documents, maintaining electronic medical record, data entry, assisting with the coordination for future appointments, and completing financial assessments. Some occasional transportation services to persons being discharged from the unit. This position must have the ability to work with a variety of agencies and individuals. Ability to work flexible hours and or weekends.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input into center information system; ability to stay calm and focused in a sometime chaotic environment; must be able to deal with clients, families and staff utilizing tack and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
Salary Amount$11.54/hr
