As a Behavioral Health Counselor, one will provide therapeutic behavioral health services to adults and youth in accordance with best-practice standards, evidence-based interventions and individualized recovery planning. Therapies might include, but are not limited to, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Counseling services will be provided in Bluebonnet Trails Community Services’ facilities/offices, and or in the community and may be provided in vivo or via Tele-Video, as appropriate and approved by the Counseling and Intake Services Director. This position may have the opportunity to participate in and/or lead community education, engagement and outreach events and programming (i.e. groups, workshops, classes, courses).
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Clinical licensure is required (LCSW, LPC or LMFT) prior to hire date. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Clinical experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families. Valid Texas driver’s license in good standing required. |
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual/Spanish-speaking. Experience in providing concurrent documentation within an electronic database preferred. Experience with tele-video services is preferred.
