This person will provide an array of mental health services to adults and youth on a relief, or as needed, basis.
This position provides essential mental health screenings, assessment, case management, crisis services, skills-training and psychosocial rehabilitation services on a relief basis. This position will be responsible for assessing and differentiating between individuals who have crisis needs, individuals meeting eligibility for agency services, and individuals who require referrals for other providers in the community. Services may be provided in the office or in the community depending on the need. Services may be provided on an individual basis and/or in a group setting. This position provides both services and authorizing and support functions, responsibilities and documentation.
This position requires an aptitude to be flexible and an ability to provide a variety of mental health recovery services that vary in range of intensity and duration to best meet the needs of the clinic and the individuals being served. The person in this position should be knowledgeable in severe mental illness as outlined in the DSM-IV as well as evidence-based, associated interventions and recovery support services to enhance recovery for the individuals being served.

|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Must meet the criteria for a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional). Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Have a Master’s in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or another related field; be licensed as an LMSW, LMFT-A or LPC-Intern; be licensed as an LMSW, LMFT-A or LCP-Intern and be in clinical supervision; bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL; hold advanced clinical licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
