Job Description

Under the direction of the Youth and Family Clinical Lead, or designee This position provides mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families through needs assessments, development of service plans, direct therapy services in group and individual formats. This position will also complete mental health intakes to children and families. The LPHA will provide mental health counseling and intake services face-to-face and via tele-video. Exemplary communication skills are necessary in order to interface with individuals served, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, accurately document service provision, and work with community partners as part of linking families to other needed resources. This position is one discipline of a multidisciplinary team and may be the primary service provider for a given client or family. Services are provided in clinic settings, and may also be provided in the field, as needed.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: Masters degree in human services field AND clinical license (LPC/LCSW); comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses. Ability to work as a member of a team within a fast-paced, treatment setting is essential to this position. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or clinical license in counseling, social work, or a related human service field; one year work or clinical experience in intensive case management and/or psychosocial rehabilitative services;
bilingual/Spanish-speaking; experience in providing concurrent documentation within an electronic database preferred.

Salary Amount$51,500/year
