Job Description

This position provides mental health, developmental, and educational services to children, adolescents, adults and families through needs assessments, development of service plans, direct therapy services in group and individual formats (if employee is in clinical supervision), and skills training. The BHS will provide counseling and/or skills training services face-to-face and via tele-video. Exemplary communication skills are necessary in order to interface with individuals served, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, accurately document service provision, and work with community partners as part of linking families to other needed resources. This position is one discipline of a multidisciplinary team and may be the primary service provider for a given client or family. Services are provided in multiple clinic settings, and may also be provided in the field, as needed.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services field with experience working with individuals with mental health needs. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license in good standing required.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Master’s degree in social services field preferred. Participation in or eligibility for clinical supervision towards advanced licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT preferred. Clinical experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families. Experience working with adults, children and youth who have been diagnosed with behavioral health diagnoses.

Salary Amount$17.63 - $19.13/hr
