This position is responsible for providing routine assessments for consumers with mental illness living in transitional housing and in the community. Position will assist clients with accessing housing, and providing skills training activities to better understand and utilize existing community resources. Position will monitor progress with independent living if utilizing the rental assistance program. Position must be able to establish community partnerships and participate in homeless community initiatives to better meet the needs of the community and homeless individuals.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors in human services field such as social work, psychology, nursing or related health fields. Experience with mental health services is desirable as well as housing programs. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Level Clinician who has a good understanding of our mental health services and the principles of recovery. Able to establish community partnerships and work within a team concept.
