This position is responsible for completing a comprehensive assessment of the youth and their families, working in full partnership with team members to develop a plan of care, overseeing implementation of the plan, identifying providers of services or family based resources, facilitating child and family team meetings, and monitoring all services authorized for a child’s care.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field. Knowledge of mental illness as defined in the DSM-IV is required. Must have approved Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.|
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening; Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field. Bilingual preferred.
