This position reports to the Board of Trustees of a multi-agency campus located in Taylor and serving the families of Eastern Williamson County. The Center Director performs a wide range of duties related to the oversight, coordination and administration of all aspects of the center including planning, organizing and management activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the non-profit Center. This will include the development of new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the Board of Directors, development and implementation of long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the center and development of an annual budget and operating plan. This position is also responsible for ensuring center activities operate within the policies and procedures as directed by the bylaws of the Board of Trustees and that activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards. This position will recruit, interview and select well-qualified volunteers and contractors needed to manage the operation of the center; implement policies, procedures and practices to achieve the mission of the Center; and establish and implement a performance monitoring process informed by data collected from the partnering agency comprising the Center. This position is responsible for communication with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the center and to solicit input to improve the center as well as coordination of the delivery of services.
This position will ensure the Center operates within the approved budget in order to achieve and maintain sustainability. This position will communicate with funders as outlined in funding agreements. This position will approve, monitor and report budgeted expenditures and cash flow projections to the Board of Directors. In addition, this position will ensure that all financial records are accurate and current and that financial reports and supporting documentation for funders is prepared as outlined in the funding agreements.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, with 1 to 5 years of experience with business administration, demonstrated experience with collection, evaluation and communication of data, trends and outcomes. In addition, must have demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively with large groups, an understanding of community relationships, and organization skills required for the successful management of a multi-agency campus. Must possess leadership qualities which demonstrate competence in ethical behavior and business practices, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, effective communication, creativity and innovation as well as a focus on client needs, teamwork, decisiveness, organization and strong problem solving skills. Must have valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree, experience with programs serving under-represented populations and knowledge and/or experience of the communities in East Williamson County.
