Work is performed under the supervision of the physician for clinical tasks and the Nurse Manager for other duties that may be assigned. The MA works under the supervision of the MDs and NPs and in conjunction with the RNs, LVNs, Case Managers and other clinical/administrative behavioral health staff to provide services to the clients.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Must pass background check and drug screening. Write and communicate clearly in English. Strong computer and communication skills are required. Must have completed MA training in a recognized vocational program. Requires National Certification for Medical Assistant. (NCMA) Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred AA degree. Knowledge of medical office administration. Bilingual. 2+years’ experience in outpatient medical office.
