Diagnostician will assist in assessment of individuals to determine their eligibility for services provided through State-funded programs targeted for individuals with diagnoses of IDD (Intellectual Developmental Disability) or Autism. Assessments will also be provided to facilitate eligibility determination for various Medicaid programs serving this population and those with related conditions.
Assessments will be provided on an as needed basis, for new admissions, readmissions, or when new assessments are needed for program enrollments.
Territory for assessments may include neighboring counties, dependent upon the provider’s availability or preference.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: A master’s degree which included coursework on providing assessments of intellectual capacity. Experience providing assessments of this type for individuals with IDD, as well as assessments of adaptive behavior and Autism.|
Professional licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psych Associate).
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Psychological Associate or Psychologist with experience providing these assessments to the target population. Bilingual (English/Spanish or ASL).
