Under the supervision of the Director of Crisis Services, the Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) provides a variety of different services to include LPHA services in the Extended Observation Unit (EOU), performs face to face substance use, mental health, developmental, and educational services to individuals across the lifespan through diagnostic and psychosocial assessments, development of recovery plans, direct individual therapy services, crisis assessment and skills training as well as group services. This LPHA may provide services face-to-face in homes, in the community, or via tele-video as needed. Other services include consultation with crisis staff and providing reflective mentorship as needed in small groups or individually.
Exemplary communication skills are necessary in order to communicate with individuals served, accurately document service provision, and work with community/agency partners. This position is one discipline of a multidisciplinary team and will be working closely with individuals they serve and as a consultant to other staff. In addition to direct service, the person in this role may be asked to provide community presentations, engage in program development or develop special projects.
Shift Hours: This position is an as needed position.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: LCSW, LPC, PHD licensure in TX and must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Two years post licensure experience with persistent mental illness in crisis mental health setting preferred.
