The Supported Employment/Education Skills Trainer (SEEST) will work as part of ClearPath Early Onset Psychosis Team, which is a coordinated specialty care team that provides services to individuals with mental health challenges who are experiencing the early stages of a psychotic disorder. The purpose of employment services is to provide training and supports needed to enable individuals to develop the ability and skills to secure and maintain competitive employment independently. This position will also focus on providing skills training for individual who are overcoming barriers associated with the early onset of psychosis. Services provided in this position would include assisting an individual to gaining and coordinating access to necessary care and services appropriate to the clinical needs.
The SEEST will work within a coordinated specialty care team to provide support to 20 to 30 individuals, ranging from 15 to 30 years of age.
The SEEST must have good communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals, families, employers and other community stakeholders. The SEEST will work a variable schedule, as needed, to meet individuals’ employment and educational needs. This position serves families in Bastrop, Fayette, and Lee. Other duties as assigned.

|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field. Knowledge of mental health as defined in the DSM-V is required. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.|
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field. Experience providing Supported Employment/Supported Education services. Bilingual preferred- Spanish and/or ASL.
