This Position provides psychiatric care in person and by telemedicine to a full caseload (based on % FTE) of patients with psychiatric disorders at several outpatient locations. The Position is responsible for the delivery of professional care and competent services primarily or exclusively to children and adolescents, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, treatment planning, emergency evaluations in an outpatient setting, and/or crisis settings. Familiar with current psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. The Position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Bluebonnet Trails’ policies, procedures, and billing code requirements; and is responsible for completing records in a timely manner using the designated electronic medical record system. Other duties include consultation with staff, treatment team participation, and coordination with other professionals.

|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: Psychiatrist: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy. By hire date: Certification of completion of residency in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry; Current, active license to practice medicine in Texas as issued by the Texas Medical Board; Current, active Controlled Substance Registration Certificate issued by the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (or in process of obtaining); unrestricted eligibility to participate in provider network for Medicare/Medicaid/other third party payers. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.|
