(1855) Residential and Ambulatory Detoxification Manager

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Substance Use Services, this position is responsible for managing Residential Detoxification and Ambulatory Detoxification programs at the San Gabriel Crisis Center in Georgetown, TX. Duties include supervision of clinical and medical staff in both inpatient and outpatient detoxification programs to ensure timely delivery of all clinical and medical services. This position will be responsible for working collaboratively with substance use, mental health, medical, crisis and intellectual and developmental disability teams. Exemplary communication skills are necessary in order to professionally communicate with individuals served, accurately document service provision, lead interdisciplinary team staffings, submit project reports, provide training and consultation, and work with community/agency partners. This position is responsible for planning and developing person-centered, culturally-responsive and trauma-informed detoxification programs. The Manager is responsible for oversight of the program budget, implementing strategies to achieve a balanced budget. This position is also responsible for achieving all grant contract metrics through implementing plans of improvement, monitoring reports, informing current and developing new policies and procedures, and developing new assessments which capture outcome data.
This position is one discipline of a multidisciplinary team and will be working closely with individuals and community partners.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: LCDC, LMSW, LPC-I, RN with at least two years’ experience working in substance use treatment and/or detoxification programs. RN will need to have a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse designation or be able to complete the certification within six months of the start of employment. All applicants must have at least 1000 documented hours working in treatment facilities. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications: LPHA (Licensed Professional of Healing Arts) with at least five years working in substance use treatment and detoxification programs. Project Management experience. Experience with CMBHS and other HHSC systems. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and practices of working with individuals experiencing substance use detoxification and addiction.
