This position offers qualified candidates the flexibility to accept or decline work opportunities within a standard work week. This position is ideal for college students, stay-at-home parents with school age children, and retired persons. This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical business support services in a mental and medical health clinic. These duties include, but are not limited to, answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner, data entry in an electronic medical record, coordination of appointments, and completing financial assessments. The position may also aid with transportation of clients to and from the clinic.
|Credentials||Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input information into an electronic health record; ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work with clients, families and staff utilizing tact and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. Must have a Texas Driver’s license and ensure approved driver’s status throughout employment.|
Preferred Qualifications: Front desk and experience with financials in a behavioral health setting preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred. Knowledge of insurance company processes.
