Network Provider – Respite ServicesDescription of Service
The independent contractor will provide planned or emergency short-term relief to the primary caregiver of persons with developmental disabilities. Services are provided in the home of the contractor or the person with developmental disabilities.
Rate of Payment
$10.00/hour for up to 10 hours; $100/day for 10 hours or more.Areas to be Served
Burnet County, Caldwell County, Fayette County, Gonzales County, Guadalupe County, Lee County, Williamson CountyEligibility
At least 18 years of age; high school diploma/GED. Must have at least one year of experience working with the developmentally disabled. If services are provided in contractor’s home, must have homeowner’s insurance and be subject to an inspection of the home. Current auto liability insurance required. Good reading and writing skills required.
