Job Description | This leadership position oversees the daily operations of Autism Services including supervising BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs. This position manages the waitlist, priority list, and assigning cases, as needed. The ideal candidate is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with experience monitoring services provided by others to ensure adherence to standards and billing guidelines established by the HHSC Children’s Autism Program grant, third-party payers, and Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (Center). The Program Manager collaborates in the development, implementation, and on-going evaluation of behavioral training programs. The Program Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate with school district personnel, private providers, and other clinical Center staff serving the child, to participate in Autism Services program planning, and work closely with the Director of Children’s Developmental Services. All interactions with families and children use Trauma Informed Care principles. The Program Manager carries a small caseload to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients enrolled in Autism Services. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel skills, has excellent attention to detail, has strict adherence to state and Center guidelines, has knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis procedure codes and insurance authorization processes, and has the ability to analyze processes and data/metrics. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: Board Certified and Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst. Two years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children. Meets BACB requirements to provide supervision to Behavior Technicians. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain approved driver’s status Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience providing ABA therapy as a BCBA/LBA. At least one year supervising staff in a management role. Comprehensive knowledge of typical and atypical development in children and youth ages 3 to 15. Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of team and family dynamics. Ability to contribute as a leader and facilitator on teams which include parents, caregivers, and other professional staff. Ability to perform under minimal supervision with considerable requirements for initiative, discretion, independent thought, judgment and self-motivation in matters of significance to families as well as the agency. Well-developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, time management/organization skills, and basic computer skills. Ability to independently conduct discussions and formulate recommendations which commit the agency financially. Ability to work sensitively with families from a variety of cultural orientations.
