(1070) Case Manager, Crisis

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Williamson County Director of Crisis Services, the QMHP is a member of the Williamson County Crisis Team, serving Williamson and Burnet Counties. This position will provide a combination of authority functions within the community and the Crisis Residential Unit (CRU), to include crisis intervention and short-term low to moderate level stabilization of identified needs. The QMHP assists in providing case management, individual and group skills training and/or psychosocial interventions, and supported housing and employment aid in addition to the completing intake protocols, development of treatment plans and discharge planning in an environment that is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for short-term stabilization. This position will be able to partner with law enforcement, the medical community, schools, families, and social services agencies in a collaborative effort to assist persons in crisis. The individual must possess strong knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and practices of working with individuals experiencing a behavioral health, substance use, IDD, or co-occurring needs crisis, and have the ability to communicate effectively with diverse cultures and socio-economic populations. Must have skills and experience using integrated computer database programs to access files and document treatment services and the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments. This position requires a flexible workday and person able to work both independently and collaboratively. This position will assist with completion of Crisis Hotline follow up calls.

Position will need to work a variable schedule that will include evening and on call shifts.

Position has an OVERNIGHT schedule.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: QMHP-CS qualification. Bachelor’s degree in a social science. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish; LCDC. Minimum of two years case management experience.
Salary Amount$19.46 – 21.46/hr
