Position Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Center Director, this position provides clinical support and oversight for the Mental Health Outpatient operations, directly supervises Intensive and Routine Case Managers, and serves as an on-site supervisor in the absence of the Regional Center Director for office staff including but not limited to: RN and MA, CSRs, interns, and volunteers. The Adult Behavioral Health Services Manager will monitor services and the outcome of services provided by Case Managers including case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses, to include adults and family members.

The position will also be responsible for providing direct services as needed. The direct services that this position may provide include, but are not limited to: intake screening and assessment, crisis assessment and intervention, skills-trainings, and case management services. This position oversees the provision of uniform assessments required by the state authority and the Center, collaboration with individuals served and their parent/LAR to develop treatment plans, and collaborative documentation of services delivered in accordance with individual need and Medicaid standards. The position will also assist in ensuring that programs adhere to contractual and agency guidelines, metrics, and outcome measures. This position is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of process improvement. The Adult Behavioral Health Services Manager is responsible for hiring, onboarding, team building, and assuring the continued training of Case Management Staff and Interns.

The person in this position will demonstrate the ability to perform all duties expected of a case manager. As the Adult Behavioral Health Services Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the clinic to include clinic flow and scheduling in collaboration with the Office Manager; review and assign all cases to Case Managers based on Case Manager skill level, location of consumer, and caseload needs.

The Adult Behavioral Health Services Manager will address client concerns, complaints, and satisfaction with the services they receive.

Works with all lines of business within Bluebonnet Trails to integrate across different funding sources (state, federal, and local) to ensure the persons we serve receive the most appropriate interventions available.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
- At least 3 years of experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.
- At least 2 year of experience in a direct supervisor position

Must have valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
- 2 years of experience in management with at least 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.
- Licensed or pursuing licensure as an LMSW or LMFT-Associate or LPC-Associate and in clinical supervision towards advanced clinical licensing.

Or

- Hold advanced clinical licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to LMSW, LPC Associate or LMFT-A seeking advanced licensure.
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL.
