Job Description

This position is responsible for implementing and providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children between the ages of 3 and 15 in Autism Services under the supervision of Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA). This position is part of a team that:

· Provides direct services in-person and via telehealth

· Conducts assessments that are used to develop effective treatment plans and goals that align with DSM V criteria and remediation of ASD symptoms

· Implements interventions in natural environments such as home, community, and school

· Uses data collection to evaluate treatment programming and progress

· Provides parent training

· Collaborates with school district personnel and other clinical staff members serving the client

This position will maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) status. Job responsibilities include the following: traveling within designated service area, flexible hours and schedule, the ability to work with families and sensitivity to various cultural differences, meeting productivity requirements, and meeting deadlines. The personnel will provide services in accordance with standards and billing guidelines established by the HHSC Children’s Autism Program and BTCS. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel skills, has excellent attention to detail, and will have strict adherence to state and Center guidelines.

BCBA Supervision Available!

  • · No cost or requirement for supervision
  • · Guaranteed minimum 10% supervision per month (concentrated supervised fieldwork)
  • · Hands on experience and training with assessments, treatment plan writing, goal writing, parent training, and more.
  • · Biweekly trainings on BACB task list items
  • · Many Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) unrestricted hour opportunities throughout workday
  • · Study support for BCBA exam
  • · Gain experience providing ABA services and parent training via telehealth
  • · Flexible schedule: ability to create your own schedule directly with your BCBAs and families.

Location: Round Rock; Various BTCS locations

Salary: $18.38 – $26.13/hr (full-time employee)

$23.89 – $31.64/hr (part-time employee)

Applicable Differentials:

$0.75 bilingual

$1.00 Master’s degree

Up to $2.00/hour – previous experience at a community center in a similar role

Up to $4.00/hour – tenure with BTCS

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: High school diploma and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children. Must have a valid Texas driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field. Currently enrolled in a graduate program for BCBA certification. Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish.
