Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma and at least 3 years’ experience working with families with young children (0-5 years old). Bilingual speaker of Spanish & English. Basic knowledge of child development and parental impact on development of a child. Well-developed interpersonal skills, time management/organization skills, and basic computer skills. Ability to work sensitively with families from a variety of cultural orientations. Must have valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driving status throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: A college degree in early childhood education, child development, psychology, social work, health, or a related field. At least 5 years’ experience working with families with young children. |
