Job Description | This Registered Nursing position performs responsible professional nursing work or professional administrative nursing work in the assigned locations within the Guadalupe HUB. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of clients in accordance with accepted professional, legal and ethical nursing standards. Primary responsibilities include medication monitoring and administration, individual assessments, laboratory collections and interpretation of lab results, individual and family education regarding medications, health and nutrition, mental illness, and substance use. This position will also be responsible for giving injections, performing venipuncture, administering urine drug screens, and pregnancy tests. The RN is responsible for adhering to all agency policies and procedures. This nursing position will support behavioral health, substance use, developmental disabilities, early childhood, and medicated assisted treatment programs. This position will be responsible for reporting to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM and may rotate to clinics in Gonzales, Lockhart, and Seguin. This RN will be under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Regional Center Director in for the Guadalupe HUB. This applicant must possess an ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have excellent communication skills. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: 1. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas . 2. Ability to work collaboratively and be part of a multidisciplinary professional team. 3. Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows/MS office applications. 4.
