Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Center Director, and the Nurse Manager this LVN provides support for psychiatric and primary care services in an outpatient clinic in LaGrange and Giddings. The LVN should possess a positive attitude, a caring spirit and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team. This position supports the prescribing Physicians and NP’s, and is responsible for obtaining vital signs, weight, height, BMI, recording information in the electronic medical record, and staging medication consents and obtaining medication authorizations to ensure no lapse in prescription refills. This position will also provide education on nutrition, medications, diagnosis, and other health related concerns, giving injections, performing venipuncture, administering urine drug screens, pregnancy tests along with other primary care point of care testing procedures. The position is responsible for adhering to agency policies and procedures. This position is based in LaGrange and Giddings but will also be responsible for supporting the and Bastrop outpatient clinics to cover vacancies when needed.
Salary: $18.75- $21.50/hr

Outpatient, Inpatient, Residential Care or Clinic type settings
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL.
