| Job Description | This Registered Nurse (RN) will work within the Therapeutic Respite Program for Youth which provides therapeutic respite services in a 16-bed unit to children and youth between the ages of 5 and 17 years old. This RN will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support children who are at risk of crisis but do not meet the criteria for hospitalization. Nursing will be provided around and with the assistance of support staff who work alongside the team. This Nursing position performs responsible professional nursing work or professional administrative nursing work in the assigned location. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of individuals in accordance with accepted professional, legal and ethical nursing standards. Primary responsibilities include medication monitoring and administration, individual assessments, laboratory collections and interpretation of lab results, individual and family education regarding medications, health and nutrition, mental illness, and substance use. This position may also be responsible for giving injections, administering urine drug screens, and performing genetic testing swabs. The RN is responsible for adhering to all agency policies and procedures. This Nurse will be under the supervision of the Director of Residential Nursing and the Program Director. This RN must possess an ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have excellent communication skills. Location: Round Rock Salary: $41.39 – $58.19/hr Applicable Differentials:
