(2955) Jail-Based Competency Restoration Data Steward *Part Time*

Job Description

The JBCR Data Steward will submit regular data reports to stakeholders to support the work of a multidisciplinary team offering psychiatric evaluation, medication evaluation and management, cognitive behavior therapy, curriculum-based competency restoration education, motivational interviewing and treatment planning within the Williamson County Jail.  The Data Steward is responsible for:

  • Data entry and data validation
  • Developing processes to collect and report data, including working with multiple electronic health records, as needed
  • Monitoring and reporting progress toward achieving outcome measures
  • Maintaining quality of data collected.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed for data collection
  • Ensuring compliance and security of data

This position requires the development and maintenance of effective, professional working relationships with others. A high level of detailed electronic documentation is required and adherence to company and state guidelines is expected.

This position reports to the Director of Clinical Applications and works closely with the JBCR Clinical Team and the Quality Management Department.

Location: Remote; Within Bluebonnet Trails Community Services service area

Salary: $21.92/hr

Applicable Differentials: $0.75/hr Bilingual

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications:
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience gathering data and building professional reports
• Good project management and organizational skills
• Ability to productively work in a remote position and meet all deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience using electronic health records
• Experience working in a Behavioral Health Organization or Criminal Justice System
