This mental health professional provides person centered and recovery focused services to people with severe and persistent mental illnesses. This professional formulates treatment plans, provides skills training and documentation of services delivered in accordance with consumer needs. This position provides training in those skills that primarily focus on furthering an individual’s independent living skills. These services promote community integration, increase community tenure, and maintains the individual’s quality of life. This service includes activities and training designed to address the illness or symptom-related problems and behaviors that mental illness creates which precludes a person’s functioning living, learning, and working environment. The skills training should occur in the community, in the home, or through tele-video.
Bluebonnet Trails Community Services is looking for professionals with aptitude for working with people who have bipolar, schizophrenia, and major depression with psychosis. This opportunity will utilize knowledge and skills in assessment, service planning with consumer and local community resources, as well as knowledge of psychotherapeutic medications.
Salary: $20.44 – $26.19/hr
