Job Description | Under the supervision of the Regional Center Director, the Director of Nursing, and the Nurse Manager this position is responsible for assisting behavioral health providers and nursing staff with office flow, providing medication education under the direction by the clinic RN, working in collaboration with medical providers and nursing team, monitoring medication refill line, following medication orders to complete refill request, and provide other health-related education to assist individuals with maintaining stability in the community. This CMA must have a caring spirit and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills are required. This position may also assist primary care providers for the individual’s medical and physical healthcare needs. Other nursing duties may include assisting with clinic flow, rooming individuals for appointments, venipuncture, injections, vital signs, urine drug screening, pregnancy testing and monitoring of pharmacy and other medication programs. This CMA will assist other regional Williamson County behavioral health and primary care HUB clinics in the event of staffing vacancies. Hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM.
