Job Description | Under the supervision of the Director of Business Operations, the Business Operations Manager is responsible for assisting with the management of multiple aspects of Bluebonnet Trails’ revenue cycle. This position manages the PAR I and PAR II staff. The Business Operations Manager will analyze and review current processes focused around day-to-day revenue cycle operations, and company goals. The position’s focus is to provide solutions to strengthen the company’s mission through streamlining operational processes within Bluebonnet Trails’ clinics and supporting an integrated process for the organization. The position will create and support efficient revenue cycle processes that ensure the continuance of quality patient care, fiscal stability, and the enhancement of the centers’ image while achieving organizational goals consistence with the organization’s stated mission. The Business Operations Manager will assist in special projects as the need arises. The position will supervise temp business support staff by assigning and overseeing duties to support the business development and RCM teams. Location: Remote within the BTCS Service area; onsite work as needed. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: At least three years of healthcare administration experience. Knowledge of insurance and healthcare revenue cycle management. Experience working directly with insurance payors on claims and denials. Experience obtaining prior authorizations for services. Strong communication and computer skills. Experience working in an electronic health record. Ability to solve problems, working collaboratively across team, effective communicator, and ability to track and monitor patient accounts. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Healthcare Administration. Experience working with Texas Community Mental Health Centers, experience working in SmartCare, and prior experience managing staff. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline process and solutions for improvement of revenue cycle processes. |
