Provider Coordinator/RTC Liaison

Youth & Family Services – Bluebonnet Community Services

About the Role

The Provider Coordinator/RTC Liaison is responsible for the supervision and coordination of YES Waiver providers, oversight of the RTC (Residential Treatment Center) project, and performance of clinical and administrative duties related to both roles. This position ensures that provider services meet fidelity, credentialing, and compliance requirements, while also managing coordination of services for youth placed in RTCs. The position reports to the YES Waiver Supervisor or designee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and support to all YES Waiver providers across the eight-county service area.
  • Conduct outreach to onboard new providers, including recruitment, orientation, and credentialing in alignment with agency policies.
  • Monitor provider performance, ensuring service delivery meets agency and Medicaid billing standards.
  • Facilitate quarterly provider meetings and distribute updated policy, credentialing, and service guidelines.
  • Review and approve provider invoices and coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Complete and submit the monthly Provider and RTC Report in alignment with state and internal requirements.
  •  Serve as liaison with the RTC Project, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide targeted case management for youth in RTC placements, including coordination of Child & Family Team meetings and collaboration with residential staff and caregivers.
  • Assist families and care coordinators in navigating the RTC admission process, including consent forms and application submission.
  • Monitor RTC outcomes, participate in discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Support YES Waiver Supervisor in provider quality improvement projects and internal audits.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and agency documentation protocols.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing trainings relevant to the position.
  • Participate in auditing processes to evaluate provider compliance, documentation quality, and RTC project performance.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Salary: $26.83 – $35.08/hr

*Range of salary subject to applicable differentials listed below*

Applicable Differentials:        

Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS

$1.00/hr Master’s degree

$0.75/hr Bilingual

Up to $2.00/hour, previous community center experience in a similar position

$1.00/hour, advanced licensure

.50/hour, LCDC

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university with a major or equivalent course work for a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field and knowledge of mental illness. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
*If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening;
Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field.
Bilingual preferred.
