Job Description | Under the direction of Chief Crisis Programs Officer this position leads the Youth Therapeutic Respite Program (North and South). This includes:
informs and updates policy and procedure, supports the capturing of outcomes data
This position necessitates innovative thinking, patience, resiliency, skills in advocacy, service coordination, and collaborative planning. The Director of Youth Therapeutic Respite Programs effectively works independently and on a team; manages the needs and supports of the person, families and community. This position requires a good working relationship with schools, law enforcement, judges, Child Protective Services, advocates and other community partners. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of behavioral health youth residential operations experience or 2 years of leadership experience in youth-specific industry . Ability to work autonomously as a member of a team as well as working independently. Must demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills. Must have a Bachelors Degree in Human Services. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Human Services or Leadership/Management. Licensed or pursuing licensure as an LCSW or LPC. At least 2 years of experience in leadership of youth residential operations. Bilingual in Spanish or ASL. |
