Job Description | The Adult Crisis Respite Unit (CRU) Program Manager is a 24/7 residential facility that serve individuals experience a behavioral health, substance use, or intellectual developmental disability related crisis. For an average of 10-14 days, individuals admitted to the facility receive crisis treatment including crisis intervention, relapse prevention, skills training, motivational interviewing, peer support, medication management and medication education. Support with connection to other community resources and referrals are also available as needed. Critical Impact: The Crisis Respite Unit provides an option for crisis intervention, with a focus on pre-arrest jail diversion and recidivism reduction. The Crisis Respite Unit Program Manager oversees how we deliver care to the people we serve, how we develop and support our talented team, and how we collaborate with our community partners. Additionally, the Program Manager leads the communication with our staff and contractors on strategy for maintaining Crisis Respite Unit’s essential operations, including during emergencies and disasters. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services*, comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment; minimum of one year of crisis case management experience; possesses a valid Texas Driver's License and maintains approved drivers’ status throughout employment. *If degree is not in Human Services, a minimum of 24 credits in a human services field Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Services; pursuit of clinical licensure in counseling, behavior analysis, family therapy, social work or a related field; advanced licensure; Bilingual in ASL or Spanish; experience in providing concurrent documentation, licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). |
