About the Role

The YES Waiver Team Lead provides advanced oversight and support to Wraparound Facilitators (WAFs) to ensure delivery of services in alignment with wraparound fidelity principles. This role includes supervising, mentoring, and supporting staff to improve service delivery, coordinating team development efforts, and facilitating compliance with all documentation and care planning requirements. The Team Lead serves as a clinical and operational resource for the WAF team and reports to the YES Waiver Supervisor or designee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to Wraparound Facilitators to ensure adherence to wraparound fidelity and compliance with state and agency standards.
  • Conduct monthly supervision and shadowing sessions with Wraparound Facilitators to provide coaching, feedback, and performance support.
  • Facilitate regular team huddles and reflective supervision sessions focused on team development, barriers to service, and problem-solving strategies.
  •  Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new Wraparound Facilitators in coordination with the YES Waiver Supervisor.
  • Review and ensure timely documentation by Wraparound Facilitators, providing coaching as needed to meet quality and timeliness standards.
  • Assist in quality improvement efforts including internal audits, file reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Support the completion of state-required documentation such as CANS, Wraparound Plans, and TRRs.
  • Participate in hiring processes and make recommendations regarding staff development, corrective action, and training needs.
  • Attend interdepartmental meetings, state workgroups, and fidelity-related trainings as directed.
  • Serve as liaison between Wraparound Facilitators and program leadership, ensuring consistent communication and issue escalation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated service delivery and smooth transitions of care.
  • Provide clinical consultation for complex cases or family system issues.
  • Support YES Waiver Supervisor in completion of audits, reports, and fidelity reviews.
  • Participate in internal and external auditing processes to ensure program fidelity and documentation compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Salary: $26.83 – $35.08/hr

Applicable Differentials:        

Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS

$1.00/hr Master’s degree

$0.75/hr Bilingual

Up to $2.00/hour, previous community center experience in a similar position

$1.00/hour, advanced licensure

.50/hour, LCDC

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university with a major or equivalent course work for a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field and knowledge of mental illness. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
*If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening;
Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field.
Bilingual preferred.
