(1862) Veteran Peer Coordinator

This position works under the direct supervision of the Director of Peer and Veteran Support Services and will report to the Service area. This position will coordinate with peer services to help veterans in counties associated with Bluebonnet Trails Services service area.

The Military Veteran Peer Coordinator duties include providing peer services, community outreach, and providing resources for the service member, veterans, and their families. Assist with budget development, monthly and quarterly review of all information reported to the state. Supervise the provision of services by volunteers and monitor quality of services.

Exemplary communication skills are necessary to communicate with individuals served, accurately document service provision, an work with community/agency partners. This position is one discipline of a multidisciplinary team and will be working closely wit individuals they serve. In addition to direct service, the person in this role may be asked to engage in program development or develop special projects.

Location: All BTCS Locations

Salary: $18.20 – $22.95/hr
