(1897) Access Clinician (LPHA)

Job Description

The Access Clinician (LPHA) will provide therapeutic mental health services to adults, children, youth and families throughout BTCS catchment area, including, but not limited to: intake & linkage to ongoing outpatient services, hospital discharge follow up services, transitional services, and crisis prevention/intervention when necessary. The services provided will be in accordance with best-practice standards, evidence-based interventions, and individualized recovery planning. Services will be provided in BTCS facilities/offices and/or may be provided in vivo or via Tele-Video, as appropriate and approved by the Access Intake Supervisor.

This position requires a flexible workday and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Salary: $31.80 – $39.50/hr

Applicable Differentials:

Up to $2.00/hr – previous experience in a similar role at a community center

Up to $4.00/hr – tenure with BTCS

.75/hr, Bilingual

.50/hr, LCDC

$200/month Service Delivery incentive

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: Licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or current licensure by the State of Texas as a licensed clinical psychologist.

The candidate will be credentialed through Bluebonnet Trails Community Services. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.

Preferred Qualification: Bilingual: English/Spanish

Two years working with individuals with severe mental illness. Experience working across the lifespan. Experience working with individuals, groups and families preferred.
