(2023) Strategic Operations Analyst

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff, the Strategic Operations Analyst leads project management efforts for both short- and long-term initiatives aimed at enhancing business and clinical processes, optimizing revenue, and advancing the use of technology at the center.  These initiatives are essential to upholding the center’s commitment to service quality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing inefficiencies: Using techniques like process mapping and root cause analysis to identify redundancies and bottlenecks.
  • Developing solutions and enhancements: Creating step-by-step implementation plans and tools to restructure workflows or integrate new technology.
  • Leading implementation: Guiding cross-functional teams through the change process, including implementation of new projects.
  • Training employees: Providing training and support to staff on new processes.
  • Tracking progress: Monitoring key performance indicators to measure and report the success of improvements.

Initiatives may include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing Augmented Intelligence/Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
  • Launching New Rural Health Innovations/Access Points
  • Advancing Patient Portal Usability/Functionality
  • Enhancing Productivity and Measure Performance
  • Development of support tools for leaders to analyze/manage operations

This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments, facilitate group processes, inspire others to complete tasks, and manage tasks with deadlines.

This position will collaborate closely with the Clinical Applications, Communications, and Quality Management departments to enhance the overall experience for individuals seeking services, community members, and staff.

Location: Remote  – MUST LIVE IN Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Lee or Williamson County

Hourly Salary Range: $40.39 – $44.39

Differential Detail:

  • Up to $2.00/hour – previous experience with a Texas community center in a similar role
  • $1.00/hour – tenure with BTCS
  • $1.00/hour – career ladder specialty

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant clinical, social sciences, public health or business field.
3+ years of experience in a community health setting.
Experience with writing policies and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead and facilitate group processes.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Ability to produce documents in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work cooperatively with multiple teams and individuals to develop work plans and time-lined outcomes.


Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in a community health setting.
5+ years of experience in project management and/or management roles.
Salary Amount$80,011.20 - $92,331.20/year
