Job Description | Under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Nursing, the Nurse Manager, and the Regional Center Director, this Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position will work within a behavioral health outpatient setting. This LVN will support the providers to ensure smooth clinical flow and the individual’s appointments are on time. This position will work in collaboration with providers and the HUB nursing team to assist with medication refills, health-related education to assist individuals with maintaining stability in the community, medication administration, phlebotomy, and other point of care lab testing as ordered by the providers. This LVN will also assess vital signs, heights and weights for each individual. This LVN may be responsible for supporting the clinic with ordering supplies, ensuring compliance with the medication storage room and other clinical tasks as assigned by the Nurse Manager. This LVN position performs responsible clinical and assigned work in the assigned locations. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of individuals in accordance with accepted professional, legal and ethical nursing standards. This position will be responsible for reporting to work at the assigned outpatient clinic, Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM but may also provide nursing support in at other clinic locations within the HUB region. This LVN must have the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
