Job Description | Services include peer support, Person-Centered Planning, Wellness Recovery Action Planning, Whole Health Action Management, Seeking Safety, and Recovery Dialogue. The primary responsibility of peer specialists is to help individuals identify and achieve their own needs, wants, and goals. The Certified Peer Specialist will facilitate and document individual and/or group services at mental health clinics, transitional housing, and in the community. The Certified Peer Specialist will work closely with Case Managers, Nursing Staff, Counselors, Management and other BBT staff to ensure continuity of care for the individuals receiving services. The Certified Peer Specialist may be asked to work a variable schedule with some evenings and weekends, as needed.
