Who we are: Bluebonnet Trails is a nonprofit that has been providing community services since 1997. Over the past two decades, services have expanded to include resources for autism, early childhood intervention, substance addiction, primary health care and more. Bluebonnet Trails currently serves eight counties.

About the role: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first face of BTCS when an individual walks into the clinic! The CSR provides a variety of clerical duties which include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, greeting individuals and their families, checking individuals in for their appointments (virtually or in person), scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, completing financial reviews, processing payments (payment plans and copays), data entry, and completing reports. Within this position, the CSR will coordinate clinical appointments and manage clinic schedules. Additionally, the CSR will provide appointment reminder calls. This position works with various workstations, Electronic Health Records, and interacts with a variety of individuals and agencies. The person in this position has the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team across each BTCS clinic location in Williamson County.

Who you are: An individual who is passionate about helping others, loves interacting with people, diligent, hard-working, manages well under pressure, is honest, and personable. A team-player, go-getter, jack of all trades and an out of the box thinker. One who can handle a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. You also have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Texas Driver’s License, knowledge of Microsoft applications, initiative, diplomacy, as well as organizational and time management skills. You must also be comfortable collaborating with an array of individuals including but not limited to adults, children/youth, those in crisis as well as intake and respite units. Has at least one year of experience within a medical, hospital or LMHA setting and have working knowledge of medical insurances.

Location: Marble Falls

Salary: $17.30 – $21.05/hr

Differentials:

Up to $2.00/hour – previous experience in a similar role at a community center

$1.00/hour – tenure with BTCS

.75/hour – Bilingual

401A: Through this governmental plan, we offer a 7% match to employee contributions.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a person-centered medical, hospital or Local Mental Health Authority setting with an emphasis of working at the front desk and completing financial assessments is highly preferred as well as knowledge of both commercial and government insurance processes.
