Additional Perks: The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for the successful implementation of a new primary care health record software (eClinicalWorks) and will support ongoing implementation and routine production and use. When new health information technology is released, and new needs are defined, the Programmer Analyst will collaborate with staff to define requirements, and review options to ensure the solution meets both staff and technology needs. The position will organize meetings, working closely with representation from various departments and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the application meets the needs of the organization. The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a patient portal. The position will ensure accurate and seamless transmission of necessary data elements and help ensure that the portal is easy to use for staff and individuals/families in services. The Programmer Analyst will have knowledge of user interfaces and create forms in our Patient Portal, Primary Care and Behavioral health EHR Systems. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: The Programmer Analyst will have a bachelor’s degree in social services, healthcare, information technology, or related fields. This person should be able to demonstrate knowledge of HL7 interface development and have experience coding in T-SQL, C# and ASP.NET. This person must have skills and experience working with electronic medical record systems (EMRs), managing large projects, and have good analytical skills and abilities. The Programmer Analyst must also have good communication skills, both orally and written, to deliver information to other staff members clearly. Preferred Qualifications: • Two+ years of experience supporting and building HL7 interfaces. • Two+ years of experience working for a medical provider or primary care organization. • Three+ years of experience with coding knowledge in TSQL and C# • Two+ years of experience with system-wide software implementation and managing electronic health record systems. • Advanced degrees/certification in project management, information technology, software, or related fields. |
