Our mission is help create a solid treatment system that can help set our clients up for a successful recovery journey. Under the supervision of the Director of Substance Use Services, Assistant Director of Substance Use Services and the PADRES Coordinator, the Case Manager will raise drug awareness, reduce youth access and advocate for polices and laws that will help reduce alcohol, tobacco, prescription medication and marijuana abuse. This position will also coordinate and provide life skills and prevention activities in schools and other adolescent and adult locations. Intervention classes may include: alcohol awareness program for minors, DWI education, drug offender and repeat offender education. The case manager will also work to raise public awareness of the risks & consequences of drug use, educating the community about current and emerging drug trends, and building liaisons to promote a healthier lifestyle. This position will provide referrals to the most appropriate level of treatment, education, and referrals when out of scope of practice for prevention services. This position will assist the PADRES coordinator to provide guidance on all intervention activities and issues. This position will also provide other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of SUD services and the PADRES Coordinator.
