The Intensive Family Therapy Program is dedicated to empowering youth to reduce risky behaviors and achieve life goals such as staying in school, maintaining employment, and strengthening family relationships. At the core of this program is a multi-disciplinary team of four highly trained Intensive Family Therapists delivering Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) — a proven, evidence-based approach that creates meaningful change for youth and their families.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Youth and Family Operations and the Multi-Systemic Therapy Service Manager, the Intensive Family Therapist delivers MST services to youth and families in a variety of community-based settings. Credentials | Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in clinical or counseling psychology, social work and/or marriage and family is required. Provisionally licensed as an LPC-Associate, LMSW (under clinical supervision) or LMFT-Associate. Preferred Qualifications: Fully licensed as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT, or in clinical supervision towards advanced licensure. 2 years’ experience post graduate experience working in a clinical setting, which at least one year includes working with families. Bilingual preferred. |
