(3108) Office Manager, Forensic Services

Job Description

The Office Manager provides administrative and operational support for State Hospital Step Down and other Forensic Services, ensuring efficient daily operations and accurate documentation. This position coordinates administrative processes, provides support to leadership, and helps maintain a professional, organized service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides clerical and customer service representative support, including data entry, copying and printing, filing, and mailing
  • Serves as the administrative leader for managing inventory, purchasing supplies and maintaining records of expenses
  • Support client scheduling, documentation, and intake paperwork
  • Manages the fleet including maintenance needs
  • Monitors reports and coordinates with staff and supervisors
  • Submits facility work orders and coordinates with vendors, and authorizes invoices as needed
  • Provides Financial assessments for enrolled individuals, and obtains insurance authorization as needed for specialty services.
  • Serves as a leader within the team who is helpful and supportive. Administratively supports special projects such as event location coordination and reservation
  • Builds relationship with colleagues, collaborating across programs, seeking and offering input towards shared goals and objectives. Is a member of the Forensic Services team and the Business Support team.

 

Location: Georgetown, TX

Hourly Salary Range: $26.00 – $29.75

Differential Detail:

  • $1.00 per hour – 2 years previous experience
  • $1.00 per hour – 2 year Tenure with BTCS
  • $0.75 per hour – Bilingual
  • $1.00 per hour – Career Ladder Specialty

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience working with persons with behavioral health and/or IDD.
Strong computer and communication skills.
Demonstration of successful work experience regarding regular and timely attendance.
A valid Texas driver’s license is required, along with the ability to maintain approved driver status throughout employment.


Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred AND required education, experience, job knowledge, skills and abilities helpful in the performance of this position, as indicated below:
Experience in management.
Some college (1-2 years) or associate’s degree.
Experience of having financial discussions with clients regarding treatment costs.
Bilingual.
Salary Amount$54,080.00 - $61,880.00/year
