Who we are: Bluebonnet Trails is a nonprofit that has been providing community services since 1997. Over the past two decades, services have expanded to include resources for autism, early childhood intervention, substance addiction, primary health care and more. Bluebonnet Trails currently serves eight counties.

About the role: Our Transporters assist with a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to: Transporting clients to and from provider, counselor, nurse, and case management appointments at the local Behavioral Health Clinic, assist supervisory staff in coordinating vehicle maintenance and annual inspections, calling individuals to verify appointments to and from the appropriate location, enter transportation services in the electronic health record, and other duties assigned to support clinic function.

Who you are: An individual who is passionate about helping others, hard-working, honest, and personable. A team-player, go-getter, jack of all trades and an out of the box thinker. One who can handle a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. You also have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Texas Driver’s License, knowledge of Microsoft applications, initiative, diplomacy, as well as organizational and time management skills. You must also be comfortable collaborating with an array of individuals including but not limited to adults, children/youth, those in crisis as well as intake and respite units.

CredentialsMinimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input information into an electronic health record; ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work with clients, families and staff utilizing tact and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. Must have a valid Texas’s driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience in a behavioral health setting preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred.
