Job Description

This position is an in-office position, for someone who can be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of clerical, billing, collection and reimbursement duties to support front office operations. This position is looking for someone who is personable, energetic and excited to work with people. These duties include, but are not limited to: (1) answering the phone in a courteous and cheerful manner; (2) completing financial reviews to include verification of insurance coverage and benefits; (3) counseling persons and families on copays, coinsurance, deductibles and any applicable Monthly Ability to Pay (MAP) fees; (4) scanning documents into the electronic health record; (5) scheduling appointments; (6) greeting and checking persons in virtually or at a front desk; (7) processing collections on accounts;  (8) establishing payment plans to resolve account balances.
