YES Waiver – Network Provider – Camp Respite Provider

Description of Service

Camp Respite Provider

Respite is furnished on a short-term basis because of the absence or need for relief of those persons who normally provide care for the Waiver participant.

All settings must be located in the State of Texas.

Camps must be accredited by the American Camping Association and licensed by DSHS pursuant to 25 Tex Admin. Code §§ 265.11 – 265.24

Eligibility

• Camps must be accredited by the American Camping Association and licensed by DSHS pursuant to 25 Tex Admin. Code §§ 265.11 – 265.24
• Camp owners must pass all criminal, fraud, and employability screenings, and certify the same for camp employees.
• Provide liability insurance
• Provider’s camp home must pass an inspection prior to the start of services.
• Provider must successfully complete all BBT and State required trainings prior to providing services to individuals.
